"Great joined up care."

About: Colchester General Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics Gloucestershire Royal Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust

(as a relative),

We were staying in a hotel when my wife had a fall. She tripped when getting out of bed onto her shoulder and has a double fracture. The hotel called the ambulance for us and two paramedics arrived within 30 minutes. They were called Greg and Kirk and were very knowledgeable, polite, and did everything to put my wife at ease. I can’t commend them highly enough they were very helpful and it was exemplary service.

We were taken to Gloucester Royal Infirmary and again the service was absolutely first class. They contacted our local hospital and we received a letter from them today for a follow up appointment to see a specialist at Colchester general next week. Great joined up care.
