"IVF consultation"

About: St Mary's Hospital (HQ) (London)

The initial tests were carried out by very caring nursing staff who took there time to make sure I was comfortable and knew what was happening. It was very clear what they were going to do and had respect and dignity for what I was going through.

When we saw the consultant I'm afraid we had a negative experience. The consultant did not explain what was happening, they rounded off several very fast questions and we were expected to keep up. When we became upset they did not stop or slow down or ask how we were. We were not offered any guidance or support through the process. I am disappointed as I work for the NHS and trust values were not taken into consideration at all.
