"Apaling service/Total unprofessionalism"

About: Western Eye Hospital

Appalling service. Visited 4 times in a month time for unbearable pain in my eyes. Was advised give it to clear 3 weeks in my first visit, and the same advice a month later on my 4th visit !!

Was told by Consultant (!) that I will suffer of it rest of my life?! Advised like massage my almost untouchably painful eyes, clean with baby shampoo (what to clean as had no oily, flaky skin around my eyes? no such discharges?) take flaxseed oil - ? for what?! to reduce a massive pain behind my eye balls?!

A month out of work. No professional medication plan was conducted to end my suffering. By the way no member of staff who examined my eyes there sanitized their hands after recording my medical history and proceeding to my face, eyes; used for my eyes already opened/used?, randomly lying on the table uni-dose medicine drops.

Got impression that they following some bizarre guidelines perhaps to save on prescription medicines ?? Or lobed by eye lubricant manufacturers? Or both? Had to go to different Eye Hospital (Morfields) to get adequate treatment for my eye problem. It wasn't a Rocket science after all, 5 days of appropriate medicine and I am nearly fine, thanks to Morfields!
