"Excellent maternity care for complicated pregnancy"

Just wanted to say thank you to the Frimley maternity team for taking such good care of us. We had a complicated pregnancy with severe preeclampsia and delivery at 34 weeks. Care throughout was excellent we were diagnosed promptly and received great care on antenatal ward. Obstetric and midwife teams made sure we understood situation and arranged for us to visit SCBU before delivery so we would know what to expect. Although we had to have a c section everyone made an effort to make things as normal as possible like letting us have a quick cuddle with our baby before he went to SCBU. I was very poorly with high blood pressure after delivery but this was picked up on rapidly and we were really well cared for even though I was too poorly to visit my baby midwifed helped me express and brought baby to visit me. SCBU staff helped us bond with and feed our little one and we were able to go home after one week. Care throughout was compassionate and we really appreciated the time people took to talk us through the scarier aspects. Even though it was a long way from a 'normal' birth experience staff still helped make it a possitive one. Would definatly reckomend Frimley to expectant mums
