I cannot believe that none of your staff who eventually answered the phone could speak English! or understand basic English!
I was calling from Scotland trying to find out what has happened to my elderly mother who was admitted on the Thursday evening...
After 4 phone calls I gave up!!!
I tried again and got through to the switch board who spoke excellent English and where able to locate her...
Surely if you are going to employ staff on the wards then they should have basic communication skills to answer the phone
