"A&E dept and ward B1"

About: Salford Royal

Went in to A&E with severe stomach pain and was admitted to the STU where there thought my gallbladder was causing the pain. After a couple of days and a move to ward B1 I had a ultrasound and MRI confirming my gallbladder had to come out I had to wait for surgery. Due to being immune suppressant the operation was done as a emergency. I did have to wait a couple days but as I wasn't in pain I was ok. Operation went well and had excellent care throughout my stay. My stay for the week was also through the junior doctors strike and didn't affect the level of care given in any way.
