"Magical birthing experience and dedicated staff"

About: Pilgrim Hospital

I had my little girl 6 days ago at pilgrim. I was under the consultant. I cannot rate the hospital highly enough. I have a rare condition which is fatal if not treated straight away. The hospital were able to treat my symptoms whilst giving me the experience I expected. I was induced and had a foetal monitor. I was able to give birth naturally without stitches or complications. They even chose the right cd which was a track they played at my grandmothers funeral. Truly moving experience without distress or harm. I cannot thank them enough. The after care was amazing too with the round the clock nurses to. Show me how to breast feed. Wonderful service.

Dear Claire,

Thank you so much for your very kind words.

It is lovely to hear that we were able to ensure your experience was everything you would have hoped it to be. I have every confidence in my team’s ability to do this, but it is still very pleasing when a patient takes the time to let us know.

Thank you once again, and I wish you and your daughter all the best for the future.

Hazel Harrison,

Labour ward lead, Pilgrim Hospital
