What I liked

I have used this hospital for numerous departments and will write a quick comment on each:

A and E: Myself and both children treated here - excellent care - could possibly do with more updates on how long you will be left in a cubicle before someone will come back.

Central Delivery Suite - excellent care overall, although in my second birth I was left with my fiance in the monitoring room without pain relief until I was about to give birth! A midwife shouted at me as my baby was speeding out of me as I was on my way back from the toilet.

Pannal ward - too busy and not enough staff on in both my experiences. As a new mum I did not receive adequate support in breast feeding in the hospital. As a second time mum I was pretty much left to my own devices until discharge.

Woodlands children's ward - excellent, would recommend highly, they have been amazing in treating both my children.

Children's outpatients - excellent care.

Orthopedic outpatients - excellent care.

Antenatal - midwives excellent, especially one whose support I will never forget. Also another who went above and beyond for me. Consultants were not sympathetic of my condition and first birth experience.

What could be improved

More staff on Pannel to support new mums at busy times.
