"Achilles removed on right leg."

About: Harrogate District Hospital York Hospital / General surgery

(as the patient),

After nine months treatment for a ulcerated Achilles' tendon at Harrogate district hospital, I was transferred to York hospital, where a brilliant surgeon there removed the Achilles' tendon and managed to save my right leg. His name was mr Stanley, my grateful thanks to him and his team, The skin grafting was done by another brilliant plastic surgeon called Mr Lim. York hospital are very lucky to have such caring people in their employment and I sincerely thank them and the wonderful nurses on ward 11 for their kind care.
