"A&E Care"

About: Torbay Hospital

I was brought to the hospital by the ambulance service following a cycling accident, with injuries to my left hand.

I was seen promptly and x-rays taken.

After the initial assessment an orthopaedic surgeon was called in from home to administer to my hand, and with an assistant spent at least an hour cleaning and sewing up the wound.

I am very grateful for the professional and considerate way I was dealt with by the ambulance and the hospital staff.

The hospital also arranged a follow up appointment at a hospital more local to me, for which I was pleased.
