I have really enjoyed my time spent at the Woman’s Group, it has helped me so much to feel better about myself, it gives me a purpose and something to look forward to. It has gotten me out of the house and making new friends. I really like where the group is run even though I have to travel on two buses to get there, I have started meeting the other ladies that come to the group and we sometimes go for a meal in the café there before the group begins. The group has helped me socialise both in the group and in the community where we have visited garden centres cafes and the bowling ally. We did lots of fun activities and I really liked all of them especially the art and crafts. The staff were very kind and supportive and have helped me so much they have helped me to keep healthy by learning about my diet and by talking about problems and worries, we made a worry box which helped a lot and I can talk a lot to Sam. I liked meeting the new people but I am very nervous at first the group and the facilitators helped me fit and feel confident so about myself, they treated me with respect and kindness. Now the group as finished I feel better about myself and plan to keep in touch with the new friends I have made. I would very much like to come to another group in the future as it helps me cope so much.
