When the funding stops, you are left stranded. Beware.

My daughter received inpatient treatment for depression and anxiety and has been discharged as a high risk of suicide, is self harming and now feels totally desperate and that no one can help her. She was told to leave the premises when her funding stopped and I was told she didn't meet the criteria for NHS inpatient as she had been home at weekends. No one ever asked for my feedback about how she was when she was home. On discharge, she was given medication for that evening only, despite her needing medication at 8am the next morning. She is now worse than when she was admitted and I fear for her safety.
