"Spruce ward (stroke ward)"

Medical care here is relatively good.

However its an utter disgrace when disruptive (and possibly psychiatric) patients are housed on the same ward as seriously unwell stroke patients and are allowed to abuse staff both verbally and physically, urinate and defecate in the corridor, and throw furniture around without restriction.

It's terrifying for other very unwell and possibly dying patients (and visiting families). I'm truly appalled that the staff have no support from senior management in maintaining the dignity and safety of all their patients.
