Following diagnosis at the Jarvis Centre I was referred for treatment at the Marsden. I was seen within a week and greatly reassured by this promptness. The surgeon had all the information sey needed from the Jarvis Centre and was able to move straight to offering surgery the following week. All the preop assessments were carried out at that first visit and 5 days later I was in as a day patient having a lumpectomy and a lymph nodule removed. The speed and efficiency of all the various people involved in the day was exemplary and everyone was unfailingly considerate, reassuring and empathetic to both my husband and I. It is too early to know what the outcome will be but I wanted to say at this stage how much the outstanding care I have received has done to reduce anxiety and stress.
