I would like to express my wholehearted, sincere thanks to the entire team on Ward 2a who looked after me recently, during a serious operation and recovery at Royal Preston Hospital. Each and every member of staff at all levels and at all points of my preparation, operation, recovery and after-care were caring, calm, devoted and knowledgeable about their role and my needs. It is a high dependency ward for neurosurgery and all the whole team showed such compassion, patience and respect for my dignity. There aren't enough great adjectives to describe them - their genuinely encouraging response when a patient does well, their understanding and patience when a person is struggling. Thank you to you all, from the very bottom of my heart, for your loving care, which has enabled me to return safely home to my family, to keep recovering a little more each day.
