"don't know what the point of the service is"

About: University Hospitals Of Leicester NHS Trust

I was referred to the pain management clinic by GP for chronic back pain.

I've had my third appt and to be honest font know what the point of it was. The consultant said they don't agree with injections, couldn't help me with medication or referral to other specialists,

I'm in worse pain than at time of original referral.

I attended a paim mgt programme but that's so generic.

It may be useful as a supporting tool but not as the only option.

So what's the purpose of the actual pain mgt clinic?

I'm left desperate and desolate
