"Excellant care"

I have recently had a key hole knee operation and cannot praise the day care unit enough. Just 1/2 after my pre-op they were on the phone to arrange my op date. My stay in the unit was excellent. Upon arrival I was given my cubicle, I got ready and before I knew it the anaesthetist came to see me followed by my surgeon, who explained how my op was going to go. Not long after I was taken to the op theatre and before I knew it was waking up in my cubicle. I was given a cup of water and then 2 cups of tea and biscuits just what I needed. I was then left to rest and then my daughter was called to pick me up. I had no pain after the operation (with painkillers) and rest, just discomfort. I was then contacted regarding my physio at Nelson centre and got an appointment when I wanted it. I would most definitely recommend Epsom General Hospital and give them 5 stars *****
