"Felt very reassured and happy at Penrith"

About: Penrith Hospital

(as the patient),

I had been to Workington to have stitches removed from an operation to my foot. On arriving home to Penrith found that the scar had opened up and was bleeding. My husband decided to take me to Penrith hospital where they contacted the clinic I had attended in Workington who advised that the scar should be sealed with plaster strips. This was carried out by the staff at Penrith hospital, who were absolutely brilliant. I cannot praise them enough, nothing would have been better. They also arranged for me to have follow up appointments with the practice nurse at my GP. I must admit that the scar reopening did frighten me but felt very reassured and happy with the help at Penrith hospital.
