"Very well looked after."

About: Manor Hospital

I was rushed into hospital late on a Sunday night with an appendicitis and initially put on ward 10 ready for surgery the next day. After surgery a doctor came to see me to explain they were called in during surgery as I had a tubo ovarian abscess. On the Wednesday I was transferred to ward 23 and I'm so glad I was. All the nursing staff, clinical support workers & consultants were excellent. After becoming quite ill again I was prepared for surgery again and all the staff were excellent. A doctor took time to talk everything through with me. Once back from my second surgery of the week I was cared for by the most excellent team of nurses & csw's. I was on ward 23 for a total of 22 nights and although quite ill I was made to feel very well looked after. Ward 23 should be very proud of how they operate their ward!

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with. It is very helpful to receive feedback good and bad so that we can share what we do best and improve where we need to.

I am pleased that you have been well cared for and will pass on your kind words to Ward 23.
