Having recently had a stay on ward c20 I have to say how dedicated the staff on this ward are the nursing staff and care assistants are a credit to the hospital nothing is too much trouble for them they truly are dedicated to the job.
However come the evening things change the ward is manned by bank staff many I witnessed never having stepped foot on the ward before they are not familiar with patients needs some in agonising pain with evening meds not being given out until late on one occasion 1am the standard of evening care is not a true reflection of the ward or the hospital
