"Admission to Respiratory Ward on 15th March 2016"

About: Royal United Hospital

I was taken into the RUH on 15th March 2016 by Ambulance having contracted Pneumonia and Pulmonary Fibrosis.

The treatment I received from the time I was picked up by the Ambulance crew, taken into A & E, and then to the Medical Assessment Ward, and finally into the Respiratory Ward B47 to the day I was sent home could not have been better in any way, and I would like you to pass on my grateful thanks to everyone for their kindness and efficiency in everything they did for me during my stay.

While I am at home now on oxygen for an indefinite period, and receiving nursing care at home, I often think that it is sad that you have to become unwell in order to meet so many lovely people all in one place.

My sincere thanks again to everyone who care for me during my stay, and i for one am proud of our NHS. May God Bless you all.

We thank you for your comments about your recent care at the RUH and will forward these on to the staff in the Emergency Department, Medical Assessment Ward and Respiratory Ward who, we are sure, will be very grateful for your kind words.
