"Unfriendly uncooperative receptionists"

In the last month, I have experienced nearly every single NHS service (minor injuries unit, a&e, nhs 111, ambulance service, surgical admissions, as well as my local doctors surgery). My experience with all of these has been excellent, and bar an 8 hour wait in surgical admissions before admitted to have my appendix removed, I cannot fault any of the service I received. With one crucial exception... One of the receptionists at Bridge Medical Centre was so rude, and unhelpful, they actually made me cry while trying to obtain my blood test results. After finally getting the receptionist to put me through to a doctor to have them explain what that meant for my ongoing treatment, I was asked to phone back the practice (as their phone lines weren't working) to book a further appointment the following day.

I did so, only to be told that I had to ring for an appointment at 8.30am the next day. When I said that the Dr wanted me to be seen as early as possible the following day the receptionist told me "The Dr doesn't understand how the booking procedure works" and that I wasn't "special enough" to warrant booking me an appointment for the following day. Quite frankly, this member of staff has made my experience with the Bridge Medical Practice so unpleasant that I never want to return.
