"ENT waiting times"

Absolutely appalled by Leicester royals ENT department! After seeing one doctor and being misdiagnosed for 16 months I finally had a second option in January this year which gave me a diagnosis that I agreed upon. The specialist said that they would see me again if needed for grommets to be fitted. My problems continued so my dr re-refered me to ENT in late January. 10 weeks ago I received a letter saying that it was time to book an appointment, which I tried to do and was told no appointments until May, I told the booking centre this was too long a wait as I was in such pain and using continus antibiotics. (15 doses within 12 months) I was told extra clinics would be put on and I would receive a appointment ion the post. 2 weeks ago still nothing, ring again to be told no chance of an appointment before 4 months and 1,500 people are before me waiting to be seen. What on earth is going on in this department? Informal complaint made before, formal complaint will now be being made with PILS
