Having been diagnosed in February with CA bowel I can only praise the coleo-rectal team for their care both before and after surgery,and the speed at which diagnosis to surgery could not have been quicker. The care I received post op by the staff of Wolf ward was second to none.Staff despite being under great pressure still maintained a very caring professional approach to the patients,and nothing appeared too much trouble. All to often we hear what is wrong with nursing and the NHS not very often do we hear when it works well. As a retired nurse I can confirm that the caring profession is alive and well on Wolf Ward. My thanks to the whole team who looked after me.
