"Gold stars for Crawleys Short Stay Unit"

This was my second visit to the Short Stay Unit within ten months. It was reassuring to find the high standards of both care and staff had been maintained, which shows it can be done!

All the staff - the nurses on arrival and in the recovery area, theatre staff and the consultant - were all caring, calm, reassuring and communicated clearly at each stage what would happen next. They were all cheerful and clearly work well as a team and support and help each other when necessary. Patients then feel more at ease and feel they can ask questions without feeling they are a nuisance. This is all in a clean modern light area too! Brilliant - keep up the good work!
