I had significant pain in my chest during the night of 14/15 April.
I looked at the NHS Choices website for angina guidance, which advised me to phone 999 for an ambulance.
The paramedics arrived within about 20 minutes and they were skilled and very efficient.
The ambulance took me to Kettering General hospital A & E, where I was dealt with straight away.
It could have been a cardiac problem but turned out to be less serious, following various tests and a chest Xray.
I was given stronger painkillers via a vein and advised to take ibuprofen to reduce inflammation - and it worked.
Thank you paramedics and A & E staff - you were brilliant!

"Excellent A & E Department"
