I simply cannot fault the excellent level of support I have received from the occupational therapists who have been involved with my care so far. They have always shown dignity, empathy and understanding and I have been given valuable practical advice and info on relaxation, managing mood and self care. The only criticism I have as others have also said is the first point of contact. Time and time again I have been unable to get through via the switchboard. When you are in crisis you need a physical voice and not an answering machine. I am terrified of answering machines and find it hard enough to convey my feelings to a person let alone a machine.
