About: Solihull Hospital

This was my first visit to the Sollihull Minor Injuries Unit in my 66 years of life. I was most impressed by the professionalism of everyone I came in contact with from the Reception staff, to the Assessment Nurse, to the X-Ray department staff. Yes, the whole episode did take 3 hours but they were busy and I was treated with the utmost respect and courtesy. I left there with no broken bones and good advice on how to mend my sprained ankle. Thank you to all the staff. The NHS is second to none.

I'm so pleased that you were happy with the treatment you received. It is lovely to read that you were treated with respect and courtesy throughout, and that all of the staff you encountered were professional and caring.

I'm sure you were most reassured that your injury was not more serious than a sprain and also given good advice on your continued care whilst your ankle gets better.

Jane Elwell, Lead Emergency Nurse Practitioner, Hilary Clemson, Matron for Emergency Services, as well as Dr Ola Erinfolami, Emergency Services Clinical Director will all be thrilled to read your feedback and I will ensure that it is forwarded to them so that they can highlight it all of their team who work very hard in often difficult and challenging circumstances.
