Diagnosed with breast cancer in Spring 2014, I suffered the natural horrid emotions associated with this disease... Not nice. But how lucky am I to be under the care of one of the best consultants in the country. Meticulous and charming while instilling huge confidence in their patients. This has led in no small part to my positive thinking post initial surgery, subsequent reconstruction ops and rapid recovery... All conducted by the same person. My friends say "I can't believe how cool you are about all this". Easy, when you have utter confidence in your surgeon. I must also add that the care from staff in admission, through theatre, post op and on Chilgrove ward has been amazing... And not forgetting two lovely breast care nurses, who are always available to chat to. Well done to all of you!
"Awesome surgery and care every time"
