"Angiogram Anxiety - Please Don't"

Very anxious before having an angiogram on Friday 08/04/2016 but amazed at how straight forward the procedure actually was.Arrived twenty minutes early for my appointment but was immediately taken onto the ward and made very welcome by the nursing staff.Upon explaining how anxious I was feeling I was reassured by each and every member of staff in a relaxed but professional way that really helped me feel at ease.

This reassurance continued throughout the preparation for the procedure and also throughout the procedure itself which turned out to be far less of an ordeal than anticipated.

Please try not to be too anxious before having this procedure and let the wonderful staff guide you through each step,it's no where near as daunting as you may be imagining.

Thanks again to all concerned,I hope this helps others awaiting this procedure.
