"Losing Hope"

About: Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust

I had a CT scan about 6 weeks ago and still awaiting results, informed at the time it can take 3-4 weeks (Fair enough). My frustration is you cannot get hold of anyone in the Urology outpatients or other and the phone rings a few times and then the call terminates. The same happens when you get transferred from the service desk. How is one to get any answers if this is how the department is run? As if life isn’t stressful enough….

I am very sorry to hear that you are experiencing problems obtaining the result of your CT scan from the Urology Department. I would like to assure you that I have shared your comments with the department involved.

We would really appreciate the opportunity to help you and get someone to contact you to discuss the issue raised. Please could you contact our Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) at PHT.Pals@porthosp.nhs.uk or via the free phone on 0800 917603 and give them your details and they will be happy to help.

Kind regards.

Debbie
