After my GP referred me to a Gastroenterologist at the end of December I selected Chorley & South Ribble Hospital for my appointment with the consultant. The online appointment system was both effective and efficient and I was able to book my appointment for January, which was much sooner than I had expected.
On my initial consultation visit I felt I was treated very well by all of the staff. The nurses were friendly and efficient and I was seen by the consultant on time. The consultant was thorough and pleasant, and he sent me for some blood tests and arranged for a colonoscopy, which was booked while I was there for two weeks later.
On attending the appointment for the colonoscopy I was treated extremely well by all of the nurses and the consultant. The care was excellent and I was seen straight away with no delay. The nurses and consultant were professional, kind, reassuring and attentive, and I felt confident I was in good hands.
Although I had been dreading the procedure it went well and I would recommend the Endoscopy Department at Chorley & South Ribble Hospital to other patients.
