About: New Birmingham Dental Hospital

Yesterday I was fortunate enough to be one of early patients at this new Dental Hospital it only having opened to patients this week.

I was given good instructions about access, and parked off site nearby. The electronic check in facility worked well, and acknowledged I had registered. After a short wait of 15 minutes I was interviewed by an assessor for my condition. I was examined, and taken to the imaging department for X ray photographs. Another visit to the assessor confirmed that my condition would necessitate surgery, but that as it was a straight forward case, the surgery could be performed if I cared to wait.

An hour later, the procedure was performed with great care, and I was asked throughout whether I was happy to proceed at each stage..

Post surgery information was given verbally and in writing to take home.

In all the treatment, of assessment,imaging and surgery had take about three hours, which I consider is first class. The staff were all very caring and kind, whilst being efficient at their tasks.
