What I liked
After a long labour I had an emergency c section as both myself and my son were ill. We were in hospital for 10 days. During this time I was treated with the upmost respect and all staff were endlessly kind and caring towards me. The medical help we received was first class and no matter how busy the staff were ( and the hospital was very busy) everyone had time for me and went out of their way to help me. If it wasn't for the care I received my lovely son would not be the healthy bouncing boy he is today.
What could be improved
There was some miscommunication between night and day staff at times but generally everyone worked their hardest to ensure my son and I received the best and correct care.
Anything else?
It's a shame about the visiting rules on the post natal ward but I understand why. It does make it very lonely if you are stuck in hospital a long time especially as my husband was working and I could have done with some help from my mum.
