"Waiting at the clinic"

About: Locala Community Partnerships CIC / Podiatry

(as the patient),

Until now my wife and I always phoned up to make appointments for the podiatry service in Holmfirth, this was fine as we could then make one appointment immediately after the other and not be kept hanging around. This helped with coordinating the public transport as neither of us drive.

This time the appointments came through the post for Honley rather than Holmfirth, which is not a problem. However there is a gap between my appointment and the one for my wife which means we will need to wait around at the clinic. Given that our names and addresses are the same couldn’t the appointments be made adjacent to one another? It just doesn’t seem logical.

Dear Flits36

We are sorry you are not happy with the recent appointments you and your wife were given. We are in the process of up-dating appointment system for the podiatry service. From now on you will be able to book your next appointment whilst with your podiatrist which means you won’t have to call by telephone and you should be able to find an appointment that suits both yourself and your wife.

I hope you will find this more convenient in the future.

Regards

Sarah
