"Accident and emergency dept"

About: Medway Maritime Hospital

This department is a disgrace my dad was left laying on ambelance trolley for over 6 hours staff did not know we're he was when we arrived to see him he was given no water even staff did not read medical note or use there eyes and kept asking if he was peeing he has a catheter he was left in dirty pad and in discomfort for over 6 hours by 8 hours they had a plan that he need to be admitted as he had phenmonia and kidneys were dry dehydrated no wonder they had not given him guilds for seven hours

Hospital lacks leadership did not show caring attuide or provided care to meet basic needs or give him personal dignity he told them he need the toilet but was left to go in his pad which was then left on four hours we could not support him to clean him self as he was still on ambelance in outside cubicle so as far as staff were concerned he had not been assessed
