"Poor care from neurology department"

About: Stoke Mandeville Hospital

I have had health problems for some time now and have recently been diagnosed with mitochondrial disease.

Two days ago I woke up unable to talk properly and sought help from my GP for it. The GP rang the neurology department who informed him that they would call me that day so I was sent home to wait for the neurologist to call, received nothing from the hospital so I rang this morning and a rude staff member told me there is nothing open to help me and now it's the weekend so nobody at the hospital neurology department, very poor care all they had to do was give me a call to advise me on what to do as my GP wasn't sure why I couldn't talk and sought help from the neurologist and considering I have a underlying disease I would have thought they could at least advise me what to do about it, now I have to wait until Monday and ring my GP back for advice again.

Very poor.
