About: Medway Maritime Hospital

After stuffering light bleeding and not feeling 100% I called Mcu n spoke to lovely person who made me feel at ease and explained what could be, said call doc and monitor bleeding but evening was still feeling uncomfortable and still small amount of blood I called back they spoke to me could see was worried n that do they've poke to someone else who said come in and get checked we got there just before 8pm n after wait in lovely waiting room was seen. I explained that I was very scared not just about baby but scared to b in the hospital. Nurse took everything slowly step by step and listened to my problems went on monitor and they really reassured me, after that needed checks on cervix n was scared but they kept talking explaining and making me feel a bit more relaxed. I can't say was pleasant but they made it bearable. After all checks they explained baby was Okies bleeding had stopped and that I may have infection. Defo a weight lifted!!

If it wasn't for this amazing nurse I wouldn't have coped they knew how to Carm

Me relax me and I went home so proud of myself n please I'd overcome it. Thank you to this nurse!
