I had my dad at the doctors several times with a sore throat each time he went the doctor said tonsillitis and gave him antibiotics! Only once did he look at my dad's throat. No painkillers or anything prescribed. On the 4th or 5th visit my dad was finally sent to the hospital and was told he was terminal with cancer! My dad died 8 weeks later! The doctor should have saw this. The consultant said the growth of cancer was so big they couldn't cut it away. The growth started at the back of my dad's throat so why didn't his GP see this? ?
I have started a complaints procedure or at least I think it has started because I have had some carry on trying to start the process getting past from pillar to post. I am devastated my dad was a victim of malpractice and lost his life.
"Misdiagnosis!"
