"My admission to Ward A4 Peterborough City Hospital"

About: Peterborough City Hospital

I was admitted to the ward I around 19th March,in a lot of pain and discomfort, and rather confused and fearful.

Immediately I was put at my ease, and pain immediately dealt with. I stayed on the ward for 5 days, what an eye opener, I just could not believe the standard of care that I received, it was excellent. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff, Staff nurses to the staff who bring the beverages round, all so kind. and helpful, and ran the ward kindly and calmly, in spite of all the pressures they must inevitably be under, I always thought they were there for me. Boy was I lucky to have been given the best. These staff are the backbone of the N.H.S. and just get on with it without any complaint, Shame on us that they are not richly rewarded, but just taken for granted.
