"What happended to Nurses actually ..."

About: Royal Preston Hospital

(as a relative),

What I liked

What happended to Nurses actually 'Nursing'? The majority are too busy stood around the nurses station laughing and joking with the doctors. I thought they were overworked??? My partner was admitted to RPH last week with chest pains and a suspected heart attack at age 44. Initially treatment was acceptable, however, my concerns are the lack of communication between different doctors and nurses - do they not communicate? Why do we have to repeat ourselves to each doctors that visits? Its as if you have to 'self diagnose'! What kind of hospital hangs an IV drip over a bed using a large paperclip and lampshade to subsequently have it drop on your head?

What could be improved

Communication between the nurses and doctors and the nurses actually 'nursing'!
