What I liked
My experiences at Bristol Eye Hospital have been very good. In February 2009 I had surgery for a severe squint and in January 2010 I had surgery to raise a droopy eyelid.
The whole experience was very professional, my consultant and his staff kept me informed at every stage what was going on. The end results of my operations are excellent.
What could be improved
I had several appointments cancelled, but was given plenty of advance notice.However, no cancelled appointments would have been better.
Anything else?
Despite all the bad press the NHS gets i'm glad I went to the Bristol Eye Hospital. True the waiting rooms were usually full, but my appointment times were never more than 20 minutes late. Well done.
