"Recent surgery"

After a recent op and 48 hour stay during recovery, I feel compelled to write this review. I had heard of some unfortunate experiences which I would not have wanted to go through, however my experience was the opposite. The surgical team that dealt with me were excellent; explaining things fully, providing reassurance where needed and their work appearing thorough. The post op care on Ward 7 from the staff was superb and has no doubt assisted in my recovery. There are 2 issues tho; I was given uneducated/ill informed information prior to my surgery which was cleared up in advance and I would have expected more attention to detail on room cleanliness (this 2nd issue is rather minor overall but I feel could be improved). I had made contact with LRI via email prior to my operation and the response I received was very prompt. Any apprehensions I had due to negative stories have been reduced and I am very happy with the treatment I received. Thank you
