Arrived 9.10 on Thursday 24th March 2016, with my 85 year old mum, who had a ruptured Achilles tendon ,left at 12.30 with a car full of aids to help her.
Car park attendant friendly and helpful, In the fracture clinic seen by consultant before appointment time, very clear explanation of what needed to be done, nurse friendly. Taken to have a pot put one, brilliant staff, made us feel cared for, café staff friendly, Physiotherapist helpful and caring. Occupational therapist, very helpful, assessed needs and supplied us with very useful aids.
The staff were overstretched, not enough of them, very busy but put us at ease, nothing was too much trouble. Allowed time for mum to have a drink and food as she is diabetic.
If only the Government would listen to the staff then maybe they would be able to sort the understaffing.
