I attended the hospital due to bleeding whilst pregnant. I first rang the Maternity Ward who told me that because I was under 16 weeks I must go to A&E. When I arrived it was very quiet, however I waited 1 hour to just be seen by the nurse. The nurse then told me I needed to go for an ECG, despite me saying that my concerns were with my baby. The ECG didn't even happen as I was sent to a waiting room for 2 hours and was completely forgotten about. When I went to ask the staff what was happening they were stood looking around another members phone. I was then told false information by the Doctor about receiving a scan the following day, only to be told the next day that the unit was closed. I phoned back up and was shouted at by the nurse in A&E for being concerned about my baby. My overall experience was horrific and I am still left unsure as to what the problem is. This has left me in two minds as to whether or not I would like to proceed and give birth to my child here.
