I'd like to thank all the staff (including the paramedics) who dealt with my teenage daughter on Saturday after she had a fainting turn and was taken into hospital. She was taken to a special teenage bay and everyone we came across was helpful, friendly and reassuring. It was her first visit to the hospital since she was born there almost 16 years and I was extremely impressed by the level of care, attitude of the medical staff and the way she was treated. Instead of feeling frightened, my daughter felt safe - her words. After a number of observations, she was allowed to go home in the afternoon. My daughter saw a lovely locum doctor who was warm and understanding and the other medical staff were chatty and friendly. They are a credit to the marvellous institution which the NHS is and I want them to know how much their work is appreciated.
