"I'm about to attend another ..."

What I liked

I'm about to attend another appt in the Gastro clinic. Unfortunately I'm not looking forward to it. My prior experience is that no matter what appt time you have you can expect to wait an additional couple of hours on top. Last time out I realised that a TB clinic was also in operation. I found myself sitting with outpatients who clearly had this disease and were coughing all around me. It was very unnerving. Two years on my gastro problem has not been determined. I have been referred to other' areas and signed off. When the new area writes to Gastro to say that I need to be seen again by them there is no response. I have only received the current appt date as the referrer was a senior consultant in a different dept. I'll post another update following my appt this week. Who knows it may actually be a positive experience.

What could be improved

Waiting times. Look and feel of dept. It appears grubby and worn out.
