So you can’t publish my previous review so here goes
My dog got better treatment than I did over the weekend because he was insured.
I had previously seen my GP on five separate occasions over the past 12 days. However, over the weekend my ear became so painful I took myself to A&E. I needed to see a doctor. The triage nurse sat there with their arms and legs folded they made no attempt to even examine the ear!! Now, forgive me but if you attend a hospital you are in need of medical attention? The triage nurse told me to go home and call 111 to make an appointment to see a GP!
So I go home call 111. I get an appointment for 6pm, the caveat being, ‘you might not get seen at this time, you might have to wait’ I ask, ‘how long’ response ‘can’t answer that’
My understanding of an appointment is just that, an appointment or did I miss something? I cancelled the appointment and dosed myself up with painkillers.
I called 111 again this morning to see if I could get some semblance of treatment. I was called back within 45 minutes, good start, only to be told I needed to see a GP/doctor because it sounds like I have an ear infection. Wow, really.
So I ask where I should go to be seen. I was told to go to Whipps Cross Hospital as they can see me there. I live in Waltham Abbey.
So I can confirm my dog got better treatment over the weekend than I did because he's privately insured and I will be putting this on Facebook you all have a nice day
