My husband was taken to the Stroke emergency unit and thoroughly and quickly assessed then moved to the High dependency unit. He had a Brain scan, Ecg, blood tests and blood pressure taken. Lots of questions as to what was wrong and why he was there.
The rooms were clean.
Did not have to wait long for Brain scan or any results. He was also given water. Tea and food. When results came and explained clearly what the. Problem was and what to do next. Also when discharged discussed how we would get home and arranged that for us. All brilliant and caring people - Doctors and nurses also catering staff.
The paramedic and ambulance crew were also professional and caring.
