"Brilliant Stay As A Day Case"

Well the aprehsion of my first surgery under general anaesthetic was quite full-on.

It's been a difficult few weeks.

On entering West Cornwall Hospital I was treated so well! It's the staff which makes hospitals great and all of the staff at WCH were amazing!

Out of my weeks of fear I felt the best I have in ages there.....before the op!

I was given all the information I needed and I felt very comfortable to discuss anything with them.

After my operation I was looked after well and could rest in a place that felt, safe, warm and friendly.

Obviously I don't want to go to hospital too much in my lifetime but I wouldn't want to go anywhere else in the circumstances.

The NHS is a service we should feel lucky to have and West Cornwall Hospital is a standard all hospitals should aspire to.
